Warren CAT has been a major player in the equipment industry for nearly 40 years since we started our partnership with Caterpillar® in 1985. We are known for our employee-first philosophy, strong family values and for being one of the largest and top-performing Caterpillar dealerships in North America. We proudly serve customers and communities throughout West Texas, the Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma with the finest products, expertise and customer service. As of January 2024, we are happy to be adding to the Warren CAT Rental Store family with the addition of Great Plains – an excellent company with a proud history. This growth will help us better serve customers and industries throughout the territory with expanded capabilities and new offerings.

Great Plains Equipment Rental got its start in August 2014 with nothing more than two used skid steers, a truck to haul them with and a trailer to put them on. Early on, we stuck with skid steers, but after the first year or so we began renting a variety of equipment including things like mini excavators, dump trailers and towable boom lifts.  Here lately, we’ve been able to add even larger pieces of equipment to our rental inventory, such as telehandlers, warehouse forklifts, and powered boom lifts. Somewhere in the middle, we were also able to add almost everything in between, including a substantial variety of tools like concrete saws and jackhammers. Now, as part of the Warren CAT Rental Store family, we’ve expanded even more to offer a full line of equipment from Cat, Genie, JLG, Ditch Witch and more.

We’ve been fortunate to be able to grow very quickly for a few reasons. First and foremost, we have outstanding people involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. Secondly, we genuinely focus on treating customers fairly and with great respect.  Lastly, we continually ensure our prices are the best, or very nearly the best available in the equipment rental marketplace.

Our primary location has been open since August of 2014, located at 802 East 34th Street. Until the recent opening of our second location, this location has serviced all of Lubbock, and many smaller towns around the area, with some rentals going to the Midland/Odessa areas. From this location, we offer every kind of tool and equipment rental you might need on the job site, or for the backyard project.

From telehandler forklifts to skid steers, excavators to boom lifts, and jackhammers to concrete saws. No matter what type of equipment or tools you need for the job, we have you covered. Midland/Odessa
